Last week's afterschooling consisted of a MLK skit, three completions of a world map puzzle and learning of the continents and oceans, addition, subtraction, logic (Scratch programming), spelling, writing (journal and grocery list), of course reading, plotting a coordinate graph picture, BrainPop (not sure what he watched but it was an hour), and an intro to phone etiquette when he rsvp'd to 2 parties on his own. Oh, and piano and riding lessons. He trotted ON HIS OWN yesterday and loved it. I think he felt powerful and free. He also decorated a Mardi Gras mask and has asked for more Mardi Gras activities so we'll be doing a lesson on that this week.
